Hello Angels Supporter,
I hope this video and note find you healthy and safe during these extraordinary and trying times.
I am grateful for the strength our families and staff have demonstrated during this difficult time – we are continuing to place young children with our Angels families and currently, we have 75 children in our care. The need continues.
Knowing that disasters cause high levels of stress and anxiety, resulting in higher rates of child abuse and neglect, my heart goes out to everyone impacted by the pandemic – especially the most vulnerable children in our community.
I am sad to report that we have been forced to cancel our annual Fostering Futures fundraising event that was scheduled for May 29 – causing a nearly $400,000 gap in revenue. This could impact our ability to continue to provide homes for infants and toddlers who desperately need our help.
I ask you to please consider making a gift now to support Angels – no gift is too small. I am confident that by all working together Angels will continue to protect young children and provide caring and loving homes throughout our county.
Sincerely,
Jeff Wiemann
